Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Brand Manager / Product Manager to lead brand strategy and product portfolio management for our life-saving nutritional products. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, scientific acumen, and hands-on execution in a purpose- led and regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities Brand & Product Strategy
  • Lead brand planning, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies for key products including NeoLact 70, 100% human milk fortifiers, and related offerings.
  • Work closely with clinical, regulatory, and R&D teams to build medically credible, compliant brand narratives.
  • Assist with participating in conferences – regional and national wide.
  • Translate complex scientific benefits into compelling communication tailored for neonatologists, paediatricians, hospitals, and NICUs.
Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
  • Own the lifecycle of key SKUs—from product launch to growth, maturity, and rationalization.
  • Build effective Visual aids and LBLs to support focus brands and new product launches
  • Evaluate market feedback, clinical adoption, and therapy gaps to recommend enhancements or innovations.
Market & Stakeholder Insights
  • Conduct deep-dive market research, competitive mapping, and stakeholder need analysis.
  • Stay ahead of evolving neonatal nutrition trends, KOL expectations, and clinical evidence.
Marketing Execution & Field Support
  • Design high-impact medical marketing tools (MR inputs, CME decks, HCP education content).
  • Partner with the sales and training teams to ensure field-force alignment and effectiveness.
  • Drive visibility through conference participation, KOL engagement, and scientific branding initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for marketing initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with operations, regulatory, medical affairs, and hospital partnerships to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Assist with the training function for new joiners.
  • Drive knowledge transfer and assist with objection handling for Sales team members.
  • Ensure all brand activities adhere to ethical marketing codes and compliance norms.
Business Planning & ROI
  • Drive brand P&L performance and optimize ROI across marketing initiatives.
  • Set KPIs, track metrics, and present brand performance to leadership.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of neonatal care, nutrition science, or pharmaceutical/medical marketing
  • Strategic brand management and portfolio ownership
  • Excellent cross-functional coordination and scientific storytelling
  • High accountability and agility in a mission-critical, regulated domain
  • Data-driven decision-making and execution rigor

Qualifications

  • MBA in Marketing / Healthcare Management from a reputed institute
  • Graduation in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nutrition, or related field
  • 5+ years in product/brand management, preferably in infant nutrition, neonatal care, or specialty pharmaceuticals
